The zero carbon products represented by efficient PV cells are an important support for achieving zero-carbon energy. In the field of N-type monocrystalline bifacial high-efficiency cell, Yingli has always maintained its forefront in technological R & D and industrial strength in the world. The positive efficiency of its self-developed “PANDA” N-type silicon high-efficiency solar cells can reach 21.5%, the power generation efficiency of the back can reach 90% of that of the positive side. Yingli is a leader in the similar technology of the industry, and become the third manufacturer which can manufacture high-efficiency N-type silicon solar cells on a large scale in the world, which has filled the gap of the country.

Since being researched and developed in 2009, Yingli's PANDA products have been fully upgraded in technological innovation, material combination, plate design, and packaging and transportation. At the optimized system installation site, the rear of 60 pieces of PANDA BIFACIAL photovoltaic components manufactured with the new-generation PANDA battery can contribute 10% to 30% of the front generating capacity, the actual power generation is over 380W, and the equivalent component efficiency exceeds 24.5%, which has a very positive role in promoting the realization of the grid parity of solar PV.

The International Photovoltaic Technology Roadmap (ITRPV) predicts that the ratio of N-type monocrystalline silicon battery will rise from about 7% in 2016 to about 30% in 2022. Yingli’s “PANDA” bifacial power generation batteries and components will further lead the development of technology and promote industrial upgrading.
